It seems finally we’re going to get excited – guys are going to start recording in January according to Mark’s twitter – http://twitter.com/markhoppus/status/5893071682.

This sad news struck us on Friday. Adam Goldstein was found dead in his apartment in New York. There isn’t any official statemenet yet regarding the cause of death, but there have been rumors stating it was a drug overdose.

Official statement from the band regarding today’s show and the passing away of Adam:

Due to circumstances surrounding the unfortunate and untimely passing of our dear friend Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein, blink-182 will not be playing tonight in Saratoga, NY at SPAC. Performances by Weezer, Taking Back Sunday and Chester French will take place as planned along with some special surprises. We thank all of our fans for their support in this tough time.

Mark on DJ AM’s death:

We miss you, Adam. Make the angels dance. Send our love to Littte Chris and Jerry Finn. You were all called home too soon.
