Markus Allan Hoppus was born on March 15, 1972.

While Mark was from a middle class family he had troubles his father desighned weapons for a weapons company, which meant he had to move around alot. Mark was 8, his parents divorced, and ripped the family apart. so far apart, they were on the opposite sides of the country. His dad, Tex, raised Mark. Now, Tex was a high-tech well off man whom as Mark says, “he builds bombs.” Mark was practically living alone in the 5th grade, ate alone, slept alone (he had better, he was only in 5th grade). After living in Washing DC for a while, there was a move back to California, which was a heart-touching, tear-dripping family reunion.

When Mark was 15 he saved up for his first bass he worked hard at a local pizza restraunt to save up. When he finally had enough money he walked into guitar center and he said “That day when i walked into guitar center it was better than christmas.”

So Mark’s bass career began. He hooked up with Tom DeLonge his sisters friends boyfriend and they started a band called blink. Soon after they got a drummer named Scott Raynor. Finally after playing so many gigs they got a record deal and recorded theyre first cd buddha in 1993. Soon after Chesire Cat in 1995. Then Dude Ranch, with a number one hit “Dammit” they were famous that song even got on a movie soundtrack “Can’t Hardly Wait”.

But sadly after Dude Ranch drummer Scott Raynor left the band to concentrate on school. So they recruited drummer Travis Barker, unlike Tom and Mark’s middle class background Travis came from a poor family. After Travis came they recorded Enema Of The State, after that they had three number one hits Adams Song, All The Small Things, and What’s My Age Again?. blink-182 were superstars of punk! After Dude Ranch they had gigs at vans warped tour and even toured with NOFX. But now they were the main act. In 2000 they released Mark, Tom, Travis Show which was a best hits album. Mark know was married to a beautiful blone girl named Skye Everly. In 2001 Take of your pants and jacket was released with more number one hits First Date, Rock Show, and Stay Together For The kids. They toured with Green Day at the pop disaster tour also, but suprisingly after the ending of that tour Skye was pregnant with a boy soon Mark will be a dad. His son’s name is Jack, he was born Sep 5 2002.
